Purity

Purity is something that's rarely discussed in today's culture, probably because of the huge role that dating and relationships plays in our society. Even in most Christian circles, we tend to avoid the topic. It's usually viewed as awkward, pushy, and old-fashioned. Most girls think it's just not worth it.

But I think purity is a major part of the Christian walk. It's one of God's tests.... to see if we love Him enough to surrender the romance in our lives to Him, and trust that He has a better plan in mind for us. It's giving Him the pen that we so desperately hold onto, and letting Jesus Christ, the creator of romance, write our love stories. 

God's love is more real than anything we could experience on this earth, and He knows us better than anyone - even better than we know ourselves. He knows what's best for us.

Purity means a willingness to trust that that's true, and to surrender control of our love stories, so that He can begin to write one more beautiful than we can even imagine.
