The Real Us

As Christians, we can make ourselves look pretty impressive on the outside. We can read our Bibles every day, sing loudly in church, and pray with our friends. We can make ourselves look perfect. But, if we're honest with ourselves, that's usually not how we feel inside.

All too often, insecurity defines the real us. We can't get past the fact that we'll never be perfect, so we convince ourselves that we're not good enough. We may look complete on the outside, but sometimes we're just using that to hide how broken we are inside. To conceal the insecurities we feel. To cover up what's real.

This page was the idea of the amazing Emily Hollaway!  Our vision for it is to be a place where we can push aside our attempts at being perfect, and just be honest about insecurity.

But being honest about insecurity does not mean we can stand by and let it rule us. The goal of this page is to fight the lies of the Enemy in this area, and discover worth not in ourselves, but in the only one that matters.
